Our Commitment to Child Safety and Legal Compliance

At GpsNose, we are unwavering in our dedication to creating a safe online environment for everyone, especially children. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

We understand our critical responsibility in preventing, detecting, and reporting such egregious content and behavior. Our commitment extends beyond internal policies; we are fully compliant with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in every region where our app operates. This includes, but is not limited to, cooperation with law enforcement and child protection agencies worldwide.

Our Reporting and Enforcement Process

We have implemented a robust system designed to empower our users to report concerns and to ensure that all reported and detected violations are handled with the utmost urgency and seriousness.

1. In-App Reporting: We encourage our users to report any suspicious or concerning content or behavior directly within the GpsNose and AreaChat app. Our in-app reporting tools are designed to be easy to use and discreet, allowing users to flag issues quickly and efficiently. All reports are reviewed promptly by our dedicated safety team.

2. Content Moderation and Action: Upon receiving a report or detecting potentially harmful content through our proactive monitoring systems, our trained moderation team immediately investigates. If content is identified as CSAE or CSAM, or violates our strict community guidelines, we take swift and decisive action, which includes:

  • Immediate removal of the offending content.
  • Permanent suspension of the user account involved.
  • Reporting to Authorities: We have a direct reporting process for confirmed CSAM and CSAE to relevant law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations, such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, or equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions. We provide them with all necessary information to aid in their investigations.

3. Collaboration with Law Enforcement: We actively collaborate with law enforcement agencies globally. When legally required or deemed necessary for child safety, we respond to valid legal requests for user information and assist in ongoing investigations into child exploitation. Our priority is to support the efforts of authorities in bringing offenders to justice and protecting children.
